Equip a better Pet as soon as you find one

A Pet in storage does not improve your active run. After each small opening batch, check the values on your new Pets. Fill open team slots first, then replace the weakest equipped Pet. Test the new lineup on the same wall.

Compare, equip, test, then keep or undo the change. Pet stats, free slot limits, menu controls, and stacking can change with the game client. Trust the cards and buttons in front of you.

What the equip system confirms

Players can earn Pets with rarity labels and equip them. The Store has also listed +3 Pet Equip and +6 Pet Equip passes, which confirms that paid expansions add those amounts to active Pet capacity.

The pass names do not show the free slot count, whether the two passes combine, or which stat a Pet changes. Read the current Pet card, team panel, and Store descriptions before working out the value.

Build your team in a useful order

Fill open slots first

An empty active slot is the easiest upgrade. If the current team screen lets you equip another Pet, put your strongest clearly displayed option there and run a wall test.

Replace the weakest Pet

Once every usable slot is full, find the lowest displayed value on the active team. Compare it with your best Pet in storage. Swap one at a time so you can read the result.

Use the same wall

Pick a wall you clear consistently. Keep your Slash, Aura, and Rebirth state unchanged. Otherwise the Pet’s impact gets mixed up with other upgrades.

Keep the lineup that performs better

If the wall cycle improves, keep the change. If it does not, open the Pet card again. Confirm that the new Pet is equipped, check the stat it affects, and make sure nothing else changed during the run.

A simple comparison table

Fill this with values from your current interface. Leave fields blank if the game leaves them blank.

The last column settles the choice. A higher value should help, but the wall test confirms that you read the card and equip status correctly.

Rarity does not set your team order

Rarity labels group reward results. They do not rank your active team by themselves. A lower rarity Pet can remain useful when its displayed value beats a newer pull. A rare duplicate can stay on the bench when it does not improve any active slot.

Several rarity labels have appeared during Pet openings, but the complete order and current odds can move. Use the reward panel in your server when checking the pool.

When extra equip slots are useful

Account stateBetter move
You have an open free slotEquip a Pet before looking at a pass

You do not know the free limitCount the active slots in the current UI

More capacity only helps when you own a Pet worth putting in the new slot. The +3 Pet Equip and +6 Pet Equip names do not prove that either pass is the right buy for every account.

Split opening and team management

Open a limited batch, then stop before storage becomes a problem. Review the new cards, equip one improvement, and test the same wall. Open another batch only when there is still a team slot you can improve.

That small pause keeps good Pets from getting lost in a crowded inventory. It also keeps the team current instead of leaving every new upgrade on the bench.

Common equip mistakes

  • Assuming the rarest new pull must be strongest.
  • Forgetting to press the equip control before testing.
  • Replacing the whole lineup at once.
  • Using a different wall for the comparison.
  • Buying slots without a good reserve Pet to place in them.
  • Assuming the two paid passes combine.
  • Continuing to open Pets when storage is already hard to manage.

A quick team check

Open the team panel after reaching a new World or Pet pool. Count your usable slots and find the weakest equipped Pet by its displayed value. Scan storage for one clear replacement, make that single swap, and test your usual wall.

You do not need a permanent tier list. One clean comparison will tell you more about the team you own right now.

FAQ

How do I equip a Pet in +1 Slash Per Click!?

Open the current Pet inventory, select a Pet, and press the equip control shown in your client. Confirm that it moves to the active team.

Which Pet should I equip first?

Fill an empty slot with your strongest clearly displayed Pet. Once the team is full, replace the weakest active Pet one at a time.

Does higher rarity always mean a stronger Pet?

No. Read the current Pet card and test the same wall. The displayed progression value should decide the lineup.

How many Pets can I equip for free?

Count the active slots in your current interface. The Store confirms paid +3 and +6 expansions, but not a permanent free limit.

Can the Pet Equip passes stack?

Read the current pass descriptions and compare your slot total. Their names alone do not confirm that they combine.
